Data deletion
At Social Coworker we respect your right to delete your personal data at any time. There are three ways to do it:
1. Revoke access to a social network
If you only want to disconnect a specific social network (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) and stop publishing through it without closing your account, you can do it from two places:
- From Social Coworker: go to your project → Channels → click "Manage" on the connected network → "Disconnect". This marks the account as revoked in our database immediately (we will not use your token again). Important: social networks do not expose an API that lets us revoke the permission from our side in their system, so to also delete the permission on the network side, revoke it there (see links below).
- From the social network itself:
- Instagram:
Settings > Apps and websites > Active→ remove "Anycoworker2". - LinkedIn: Settings > Data privacy > Permitted services → remove.
- X: Settings and privacy > Security > Apps and sessions → revoke.
- TikTok: from the mobile app — open the TikTok app →
Settings and privacy > Security and access > Manage app permissions→ Social Coworker → Remove. The TikTok website does not expose app permission management.
- Instagram:
When you disconnect from Social Coworker, we mark your social account as revoked immediately and stop using the token. The encrypted record is fully deleted when you close your Social Coworker account (see point 2) or earlier if you request it by writing to us.
2. Delete all your data (account closure)
To delete your account and all your personal data (email, projects, posts, social network tokens, history), send an email to hola@comartinvi.com with the subject "Account deletion" from the email address registered in Social Coworker.
We will delete all your data within a maximum of 30 days and send you confirmation by email when completed. Except for legal obligations (tax data if you made a payment, in which case the legal retention period applies).
3. Automated request from Meta/Facebook
If you revoke access to Social Coworker from your Instagram account settings (Settings > Apps and websites) or request deletion of your data from Facebook, Meta notifies us automatically:
- When you revoke access, Meta calls our Deauthorize Callback (
/api/meta/deauthorize) and we mark your token as revoked immediately. - When you request data deletion from Facebook, Meta calls our Data Deletion Request URL (
/api/meta/data-deletion); we delete the Instagram connection immediately and return aconfirmation_codewith a URL to check the status at /data-deletion/status.
The SaaS user account, projects and already-published posts are not deleted this way (you can keep Social Coworker by connecting to another Instagram account). For full deletion write to us as described in point 2.
What data is deleted?
- Your user account (email).
- All your projects and configurations.
- Generated posts and drafts.
- Images and videos uploaded to storage.
- Social network access tokens (encrypted).
- Execution history and logs associated with your account.
